The next Day of Service, where groups meet to help out our elderly and disabled neighbors in University City with their homes and yards, will be on Saturday, October 26. We are also seeking a new coordinator to help organize these service opportunities. If this is something you are interested in doing, please contact Monsignor Mike at email@example.com or Chrissy Frazier at firstname.lastname@example.org
Beginning on September 25, you are invited to join other Christians around the country for 40 Days for Life — a 40 day campaign of prayer and fasting to end abortion. On October 22 from 1-7pm, Christ the King parishioners will join other individuals in standing in peaceful prayer outside of the abortion facility on Forest Park Ave. We ask that you would please consider giving an hour of your time on this day for all of the men, women, and children who have been and will be impacted by the devastation of abortion. If you are interested or want to learn more, please contact Jamie LaBelle at 618-806-2809 or email@example.com

Sr. Thea Bowman School On Saturday, June 22 at 5pm Mass, young musicians from Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School in East St. Louis will share music and worship with us. They will play an extended prelude, beginning at 4:45pm and will also play during Mass. Afterwards, we will share in a pizza party with the young instrumentalists. Sr. Thea Bowman Catholic School is the last remaining Catholic School in East St. Louis and we will have a chance to learn about the impact they are making through Catholic education.
